We collect only what we need

Jobrods uses your profile data for exactly one purpose: generating accurate matches and explanations. We do not build shadow profiles, and we do not harvest data we have no use for. Less data collected means less data at risk.

We do not sell your data

Your information is not a product. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties, and we do not let advertisers bid on your attention based on your career history. Our business model is the service, not your data.

Encryption and access control

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to a small number of authorised engineers under least-privilege controls, and administrative access is logged. The technical detail lives on our Security page if you want to read it.

You stay in control

You can export or permanently delete your data at any time. We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, which means you have real, enforceable rights over your information — and exercising them is meant to be simple, not a maze.

A good job search should never cost you your privacy. Building the platform this way is more demanding, but it is the only way we are willing to handle something as personal as your career.
